Screen printing on metal is a process where ink is pushed through a fine mesh screen onto the surface of aluminum, brass or stainless steel. Each color requires a separate screen. The result is a sharp, durable print with excellent color consistency across large production runs. Screen printed nameplates are ideal for logos, safety labels, control panel overlays and product identification plates where solid colors and high-volume consistency are required.
How durable is screen printing on metal? Screen printed nameplates are finished with a protective overcoat that resists scratching, solvents, UV fading and environmental exposure. For extreme outdoor applications we recommend an additional anodized or clear coat finish.
What artwork format do I need? Vector files: AI, EPS, PDF, or CDR give the sharpest results. We can work with high-resolution JPG or PNG files. If you only have a bitmap logo, our team can assist with conversion at no charge.
What is the minimum order quantity? Minimum orders start from 100 pieces. Contact us for pricing on your specific size, color and quantity.
Can I get adhesive backing? Yes. 3M 468 high-bond adhesive backing is available as standard. Pre-drilled holes for screw or rivet attachment are also available.
